²²²²²±±±±±±±²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²²² @HOW 2 How to create levels for Pipeline The game engine is quite simple and makes the levels very easy to make. In this set are three level bases from my game. The first has just the simple blocks. The next, a spring board as well; the final with the switch and shootball thing. Look at the coding if you want, and then follow these simple rules to create your own levels. 1) Choose a level base. 2) Export it and Import it on a new board/ game. 3) Draw out a level using empties. 4) Create one or more possible ways to complete it and narrow them down with the objects (spring boards etc.) 5) Test the game to see if it's possible to complete, enough blocks, springboards etc. 6) Give it a name and write a small description in the Information object. (The I next to the F) Open a level in Pipeline and look at it to see where I wrote it. 7) If you want to link it to another board just press I and, for board down, the level you would like. 8) Back to 1) for the new level. If you want to create your own background, use FAKE SOLIDS. Not Fake normals or fake water. To create a new object, choose the spring- board and change what happens when it is blocked above/below/triggered etc. Make sure the ball has the appropriate reactions and use it in your levels. Depending on how successful this game is I might start a competition on best level, best story, best new object, best background, hardest level etc. Enjoy #end Pipeline Level Editor
